History of Eco Sound

Eco Sound Founders Mark Hineser and Don Huhn

Eco Sound founders Don Huhn and Mark Hineser have been working together in the medical profession for over 30 years. Having worked their way into medical distribution and, later, into customer service, they acquired an education in long-term care that would form the foundation for their own business.

 

Their experience in long term care guided their attention towards assisted living facilities, home residents and nursing homes and in 1995 they founded “Eco Sound Medical Services”, a wholesale medical supply distributor that aims to provide the highest quality of service and reliability at the lowest prices available.

Since its inception, owners Mark and Don, along with Chief Operations Officer Patrick Meadows, have become well versed in the dynamics of the business and attribute their success to their ability to work closely with their customers.

Eco Sound is part of two national organizations: National Distribution & Contracting (NDC), that represents over 280 independent distributors across North America, and The Advantage Group (TAG), a national network of community based supply partners.
